Low Rider Alocasia is a dwarf bulb perennial with massive rich green textured foliage with rippled edges and prominent veining. The greenish-white spathe and spadix bloom intermittently throughout the year. Grows best in part sun with rich, moist to wet well-drained acidic soils. Treat as an annual when grown outside of its zones. Low Rider is a dwarf sport of 'Portora'.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance plant. Plants may burn in full sun, and in too much shade then petioles will weaken and will not be able to support the leaves. Watch for spider mites, aphids, scale, and mealybugs.
LANDSCAPE USES: Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Wetlands, Foundation Plantings, Indoor Plants and Containers.
