Skyblue Aster is a native perennial that forms an upright mound with hair foliage and and small, lavender blue daisy-like flowers that bloom freely from early to mid fall. Grows best with full sun and well-drained soils. Good drought and heat tolerance.
Syn. with Symphyotrichum oolentangiense.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Some susceptibility to powdery mildew, rust, and leaf spot. Aster wilt may occur in poorly drained soils. Though it self-seeds and spreads by rhimozones it is not aggressive.
