Bluebells is a lovely rossette-forming perennial with green thread-like foliage that usually dissapears before the flowers form. The fine upright flowering stems sport nodding blue flowers that bloom throughout summer.  Deadheading can encourage additional bloom. Flowers best in filtered sun in the South and consistently moist well-drained soils. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Prefers cool summers and struggles in climates higher than zone 7.  Watch for snails, slugs, and aphids. Short-lived but self-seeds.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Edging, Wildlife Garden, Woodland Gardens, and Containers.
