Swamp Loosestrife is a large native woody perennial that has a multi-stemmed bushy habit of slender arching branches. The whorls of fine willow like green foliage takes on yellow, orange, and red tones in fall. Clusters of small deep pink to rose purple bell-like flowers bloom in mid summer. Swamp Loosestrife is a wetland plant that requires consistently moist to boggy acidic soils, and can tolerate up to 2 ft of standing water.
