Canary Feathers Echinacea is a compact branching native perennial with strong upright and deep green foliage.  The large bright yellow flowers with overlapping petals and deep yellow cones bloom through summer.  Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.  The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed.  Drought tolerant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Susceptible to aster yellows disease and eriophyid mites.  Heat and drought tolerant.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Garden, Rock Gardens, Groundcover, Native Gardens, and Containers.
