Rays for Days False Sunflower is a compact and short-lived perennial with coarse deep green foliage.  The large fully double golden flowers bloom heavily from mid summer into fall.  Best bloom in full sun in dry to medium well-drained soils. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:   Low maintenance.  If grown in part shade plants grow taller and require support.  Sunflowers are generally susceptible to rust, leaf fungal spots and powdery mildew.  Watch for aphids

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Pond or Stream Sides, Rock Gardens, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Aster, Fescue, Shasta Daisy
