Tropical Sunset Lenten Rose is a winter-blooming evergreen perennial with leathery rich green basal foliage.  Clusters of large outward facing pale yellow flowers with deep purple backs and picotee edging bloom from late winter into spring.  Best bloom in dappled sun and moist well-drained soils.  All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:   Low maintenance.  Leaf spot and crown rot can be an occasional problem.  Protect from winter winds.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Naturalized Areas, and Containers.
