Blue Star Kalimeris is a clumping perennial with green leaves noted for its long and heavy summer bloom. The light blue aster-like flowers with yellow centers bloom the whole summer, and if deadheaded can encourage a fall bloom.  Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Watch for root rot in poorly-drained soils.  Can tolerate both moist and dry soils.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Garden, Rock Gardens, Groundcover, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Agastache, Baby’s Breath, Black-Eyed Susan
