Fringed Loosestrife is a native wetland perennial with upright stalks sporting deep green foliage with fine hairs on the leaf stems. The nodding bright yellow, star-shaped flowers bloom profusely from late spring throughout summer.  Grows best with moist to wet well-drained soil.  Tolerates occational flooding.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases.  Watch for leaf miners, leaf hoppers, and sawflies.

LANDSCAPE USES: Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rain Gardens, Groundcover, Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:  Turtlehead, Bee Balm, Joe Pye Weed.
