Royal Wedding Poppies is a short-lived perennial or annual with a mounding habit and lobed basal foliage and wiry stems sporting airy flowers.  These large cup shaped flowers are a satiny white with a black eye and dark purple stamen, and bloom from late spring into early summer.  Prefers light afternoon shade in hot summer climates and dry to evenly moist well-drained soil. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases.  May struggle with hot and humid conditions.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Garden, Rock Gardens, Foundational Plantings, and Containers.
