Ruby Slippers Solomon’s Seal is a shade loving herbaceous perennial that slowly spreads with gracefully arching red stems and rich green veined foliage. Sweetly fragrant clusters of small bell-shaped white flowers dangle from the leave axils in spring are followed by dark blue fruit seeds. Best grown in part shade and rich moist well-drained soils. Tolerates both wet and dry soils. Unlike the native species, Fragrant Solomon's Seal may cause discomfort if eaten.
