Silas Marner Rose is a compact deciduous shrub with a mounded habit and glossy dark green foliage that emerges with a burgundy red tint. The fragrant, lighlty ruffled soft pink double flowers with lighter edges bloom in flushes from spring until frost. Best grown with full sun in rich and moist well-drained, lightly acidic soils. Silas Marner is highly disease resistant, and has a complex old rose fragrance with notes of lemon, green banana, and apricot.
