Charles Rennie Mackintosh Rose is a reblooming deciduous shrub with an upright mounded habit and glossy dark green foliage. The old rose scented with almond-lilac hints double flowers with a defined 'button eye' open pink-lilac and age to dusky pink,  and bloom in flushes from spring until frost.  Best grown with full sun in rich and moist well-drained, lightly acidic soils.  Charles Rennie Mackintosh has very good disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall.  Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Wildlife Garden, Foundation Plantings, Trellises, Walls, and Containers.
