Pink Pavement Rugosa Rose is a compact thorny deciduous shrub with a rounded habit and crinkly serrated deep green foliage that turns yellow and orange in fall. The subtly scented semi-double flowers are violet pink to muave and blooms from late spring until frost, which are followed by orange-red rosehips. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Pink Pavement has good disease resistance and hip production, and tolerates drought and salt.

Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers. Rugosa is suckering and will form dense colonies unless restrained.
