Dark Knight Rose is a vigorous reblooming deciduous shrub with an upright habit and dark green foliage. The large, lightly fragrant classic double deep velvet red flowers with warm yellow reverses bloom from late spring until frost.  Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Dark Knight is highly disease resistant and makes for excellent cutting flowers. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall.  Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Wildlife Garden, Rock Garden, Foundation Plantings, and Containers.
